In the blink of an eye, another year has gone by! As we wrap up 2024, it’s time to look back and see where we’ve been (and get excited about where we’re going).
Highlights & Headlines
The First-Ever Fire & Life Safety Industry Report
We kicked off 2024 with a bang, launching the first-ever Fire & Life Safety Industry Report! This report provided critical, groundbreaking insights into the state of the industry, key challenges facing fire protection businesses, and emerging trends and innovations. We created this report because we saw a glaring need for this level of data and insight into what’s happening in fire protection.
Because of the incredible response from the industry, we’ve decided to make the report an annual initiative. Want to be one of the first to get insights from next year’s report? Download the 2025 edition now.
Another First
This year held another first for us at Inspect Point! We made the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Companies! Coming in at #1,606 overall and #193 in software, the entire team is incredibly proud of how far we’ve come since our founding just over 10 years ago. This recognition is a huge milestone that reflects the dedication of our team and, of course, our customers.
On the Go
In 2024, the Inspect Point team attended more than 30 trade shows, conferences, and events across the country (and even a few international shows). We attended events hosted by national organizations like NAFED, NFSA, AFSA, ABPA, FSSA, and AFAA, as well as statewide and regional events. Team members across disciplines got the chance to speak with fire protection professionals, business owners, and leaders, learning about what they experience in the field and the trends they’re seeing across the industry.
Shoutouts & Statistics
We would be remiss if we didn’t highlight our amazing customers and their utilization of the Inspect Point platform as they protect their communities. As of 2024, more than 800 businesses use our platform. That means there are over 15,000 fire protection professionals who can more effectively and efficiently protect their customers.
This year, our customers used Inspect Point to:
- Complete almost 500,000 inspections
- Generate over 85,000 proposals
We’re so impressed with the hard work and dedication our customers demonstrate each day—and we’re glad to be a part of their life-saving work!
2024 was marked by growth, firsts, and continuous improvement. But we’re not done.
More to Explore (in Inspect Point) in 2024
Here at Inspect Point, we have a mindset of continuous improvement. We know that our customers’ businesses continue to evolve, and our solution must evolve, too. With that in mind, we want to take a moment to highlight some of the most significant new features, updates, and integrations in our platform this year.
New Features & Product Updates
So, what new and innovative features and updates did we release in 2024? Big or small, these updates served to make processes easier and more efficient for every member of our customers’ teams.
- Healthcare compliance reporting: We expanded and enhanced our healthcare compliance reporting capabilities. Joint Commission support has been expanded to include fire alarm and emergency generator inspection reports, and new, configurable DNV report templates have been added.
- New mobile user interface: A new action bar and global “add” button simplify in-app processes to make inspections, service visits, and in-the-field operations that much more efficient.
- Code year updates: This year, Inspect Point released updated question sets based on the 2023 edition of the NFPA 25 standard.
- Work order to proposal workflow: We also expanded in-the-field capabilities to simplify quoting and invoicing from the field. App users can easily add time or materials to a proposal during or after a service visit and while still on-site.
- Improved photo management: From an organized photo library to improved photo documentation to easy-to-use photo annotation features, these updates help techs clearly demonstrate deficiencies and reference photos when needed.
While this doesn’t include every update or new feature we launched this year, we know that, across the board, we’ve improved ease of use for office staff and technicians alike. Ultimately, every new feature and update enables you to continue to drive efficiency and profitability across every aspect of your workflow.
New Integrations & Partnerships
But that’s not all that’s new! This year, we launched some exciting integrations to ensure Inspect Point works effectively with our customers’ other business management solutions and addresses their needs effectively.
- MS Dynamics 365: In 2024, Inspect Point announced a versatile integration with MS Dynamics 365, allowing businesses to connect Inspect Point with their ERP and improve business intelligence, data visibility, and interoperability.
- Zapier: We also announced our inclusion in the Zapier marketplace. This means that Inspect Point can easily connect to other key apps via Zapier, including CRMs, email management platforms, and project management tools.
- Inspect Point Fleet Management, powered by Azuga: Now, you can keep track of your fleet in real-time—and manage telematics data, vehicle maintenance, fuel, and more—within Inspect Point.
